Dr. Sieffert grew up in Rockford Illinois, the sixth of nine children. Her religion at that time was Catholic, and her education followed the standard of the time.
After a couple of years of college, Dr. Sieffert married her high school sweetheart, John Sieffert. He immediately joined the Air Force, and for the next several years, they traveled and had children, living in Mississippi, Arizona, and even Athens, Greece.
After the military, they settled in Long Beach, Mississippi, but after three hurricanes, they decided to move to Texas with their two girls. Because of debt from the hurricane, Dr. Sieffert went to work and began traveling as an independent consultant for an international software company.
After sixteen years on the road, Dr. Sieffert came home to run the hobby farm for a while. The kids were married and producing grandchildren, and life was good. But the call to pastor a church came, and Dr. Sieffert answered. That is where she is today.
